At Instabee we’re revolutionizing last-mile deliveries by offering smooth and effortless shipping to consumers. We currently operate three consumer-facing brands: Instabox, Porterbuddy and Budbee, and are present in six European countries.

As a member of the Platform team, you’ll be a key player in designing and building the platform that empowers our engineering teams to effortlessly build, deploy and operate their services.

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions on GCP.
• Develop and manage internal tools/services, from authentication to observability and security.
• Build custom solutions where off-the-shelf tools don’t fit our needs.
• Champion key platform components like Kubernetes (GKE), observability tools (LGTM stack), and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize performance and ensure seamless deployments.
• Enhance security by implementing and promoting best practices.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years in backend or platform engineering.
• Strong programming skills (we mainly use Go) and knowledge of modern architectures.
• Significant experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and modern observability tools (e.g., Loki, Grafana, Mimir, Tempo).
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (we use Terraform).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (we use GitHub Actions).
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Passion for creating top-notch tools for developers.
