In 2022, Instabee was founded after combining Budbee and Instabox - two leading last-mile delivery companies with three consumer-facing brands: Budbee, Instabox, and Porterbuddy. Instabee serves millions of consumers across Europe with convenient deliveries and is on track to become the leading European e-commerce enabler. Always with the consumer at heart.

We’re fast, both in terms of parcel delivery and when it comes to growing our business. So far our journey has taken us from Sweden to the rest of Scandinavia and parts of continental Europe, but we have no plans on stopping anytime soon. About the Role

As a Product Manager on our Capacity & Conversion team, you'll be at the heart of our logistics engine, driving innovation in capacity management and e-commerce conversion optimization. You'll leverage the power of data and algorithms to impact the delivery experience of millions of people every year. We're looking for a creative problem-solver who can lead and collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers and data scientists to develop and deploy these solutions. You'll naturally be data-driven and thrive on making a significant impact.

The problem space

The Capacity & Conversion team is responsible for all predictions for consumers about the expected day/time of delivery. These ETAs guide consumers to select us in ecommerce checkouts, knowing when they can expect to receive their parcel. The prediction engine also guides what information is presented to consumers and guides sorting and routing decisions to ensure that consumer promise is kept. Thus this team has a major responsibility in delivering a great consumer experience. But also owns the commercial challenge of optimising when Instabee is selected in checkouts vs our competitors.

The team

You will be working with a highly skilled team of software engineers, machine learning experts and data scientists, supported by an Engineering Manager and Staff Engineer. This team has generated several pending patents.

What you’ll be doing

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the problem area.

• Drive data-informed decisions, working with analytics to optimize and innovate.

• Continue to innovate in a ground-breaking way to redefine the shipping experience.

• Optimize the accuracy of our predictions and our checkout conversion

• Collaborate with stakeholders, from other product managers to C-level, to align on goals and execution.

What We’re Looking For

• Bsc in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering or similar from top university

• 4-5yrs experience in engineering or data scientist or analytics or machine learning role as part of professional engineering team

• Applied maths/stats knowledge and basic machine learning knowledge

• Proficient English

• A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and act on insights independently or with analytics.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, comfortable working with diverse stakeholders.

Beneficial For The Role

• Experience with A/B testing

• Know SQL or willing to learn
