About the role
As a Team Manager at Instabee, you will be at the forefront of our operations. Your role will combine day-to-day team management to ensure smooth operations and the continuous improvement of processes. You will oversee resource planning, structure workflows, and ensure your team is motivated, well-trained, and aligned with the company’s goals.
Key Daily & General Tasks
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Lead and motivate a team, providing coaching and support to ensure peak performance and employee engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other Team Managers to achieve shared operational goals and ensure consistency across the site and region.
- Resource Planning & Structuring: Plan and organize team schedules to optimize resource allocation, ensuring efficiency and meeting deadlines.
- Process Improvement: Actively monitor and address deviations in operational processes to continuously enhance productivity and quality.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, employee engagement assessments, and follow-ups to ensure employee development and satisfaction.
- Policy Enforcement: Communicate and ensure compliance with Instabee’s global, central, and local policies and procedures.
- Conflict Resolution: Address any personnel-related issues, working closely with HR to resolve conflicts or dissatisfaction among team members.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for employee development, ensuring skills are aligned with operational goals.
- Change Management: Lead and support the implementation of new processes and changes within the team.
- Collaboration with HR: Partner with HR to handle complex personnel issues and support staff retention strategies.
About you
You are experienced in warehouse settings and a dynamic leader who thrives on driving performance and creating a successful environment. With a strong background in operations management, you know how to lead by example and foster collaboration across teams. You are a strategic thinker who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and leading change initiatives. You understand the importance of nurturing talent, building strong relationships, and promoting a positive workplace culture. Your leadership style is adaptable, and you prioritize both business goals and the well-being of your team.
- Proven experience in the warehouse environment and with leading and motivating teams to achieve operational goals and KPIs.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
- Strong communication skills to engage with employees, management, and other teams.
- Expertise in identifying and implementing process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
- Experience in managing recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and addressing personnel issues in a constructive manner.
- Ability to work closely with HR and management on complex employee matters.
- Proven track record in creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting change management efforts.
- High level of accountability, professionalism, and a strong sense of ownership in your work.
