Operations Project Manager
About the role
As an Operations Project Manager, you will be responsible for taking part of and leading key projects aimed at optimizing operational processes within fleet and courier management in the Swedish market. Your focus will be on ensuring effective performance management, taking part in sustainability initiatives within the last mile operations and managing fleet strategy & costs. You will work closely with fleet providers, internal teams and courier partners to drive improvements in fleet utilization and our last-mile operations.
Some of the things you will do
Project Management for Fleet & Courier Engagement - Lead and support various projects such as the EV transition, remuneration model adjustments, branding adoption and various sustainability initiatives. Ensure alignment with operational goals and business strategy.
Performance Management Framework - Build, develop, and maintain a performance management framework that supports continuous improvement within the courier network.
Fleet Strategy & Optimization - Optimize fleet utilization by analyzing costs and making strategic recommendations on vehicle acquisition and sales. Oversee purchasing and selling processes to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Cost Monitoring & Reporting - Regularly monitor and report on fleet costs, including leasing, repairs, and fuel consumption, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and resource allocation.
Collaboration with External Fleet Partners - Build and maintain relationships with external fleet partners, including fuel providers and insurance companies, to ensure smooth operations and support project goals.
Local Fleet Staff Support - Assist local fleet teams at terminals with administrative tasks and ensure timely fleet maintenance.
Fleet Maintenance & Care - Ensure vehicles are well-maintained and proactively manage service schedules and tire changes to prevent downtime and damages.

You will be part of a driven team focused on optimizing fleet, last-mile operations and a function providing support to drivers. While you will take ownership of key projects, you won’t be working alone - your colleagues, fleet providers, and courier partners will be there to both support & challenge you. What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is eager to take on responsibility and drive impactful projects. You will need a proactive mindset and a passion for operations, sustainability, and performance management that will be key to your success.
- Experience in managing projects within operations
- Self-driven, used to drive your own work, identifying issues and solving them
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- Strong verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English are required
