About the role

Are you a backend engineer who loves solving complex problems with real-world impact? Join our Route Optimization team and build the algorithms and backend systems that power thousands of deliveries every day. From optimizing logistics to enabling smarter, faster, and greener deliveries, your work will matter - a lot.

• Build and run backend services with full codebase ownership, emphasizing quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Design data structures that solve complex logistics challenges efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to meet real user needs.
• Shape architectural decisions and contribute to product direction.
• Drive development from idea to deployment, continuously improving delivery intelligence.

Your future team

You’ll join the Route Optimization team – a group of passionate engineers building the intelligent systems that plan our most efficient delivery routes. We’re collaborative, curious, and not afraid to tackle tough problems together. With many exciting projects ahead, we value learning, idea-sharing, and having fun along the way.

What we’re looking for

• Several years of backend experience in a modern tech environment (we care more about what you’ve built than the exact number of years)
• Proficiency in Java and Python
• Solid understanding of relational databases
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Background in Computer Science or hands-on experience building backend systems
• Strong communication skills in English

The cherry on top

• Experience with machine learning or optimization algorithms
• Familiarity with Golang (widely used at Instabee)
• Experience with frontend development (React or Websockets)
