Product Manager, Routing
About the role
We’re looking for a Product Manager for Routing to join our Group Operations team at Instabee. In this role, you’ll own one of the most business-critical product areas in Instabee — routing, at the very core of our last-mile operations.
You’ll be the dedicated Product Manager for two engineering teams, working in a close collaboration together with an Engineering Manager and a Staff Engineer. Your mission is to set direction, priorities, and roadmap, and ensure we deliver solutions that drive real operational and financial impact across our markets.
This is not a traditional UX-heavy PM role. It’s a highly analytical, business-driven role where you’ll work close to operations, dig deep into data, build business cases, and translate complex real-world challenges into scalable product and operational solutions. The cost impact of your decisions will be visible directly in the P&L.
Some of the things you will do
Own the product strategy, roadmap, and prioritisation for the Routing product area
Act as Product Manager for two engineering teams, working closely with Engineering Manager and Staff Engineer
Translate complex operational and optimisation challenges into clear product initiatives — both technical and non-technical
Drive continuous improvements in cost efficiency, last-mile quality, and scalability across markets
Define, own, and follow up on routing KPIs, dashboards, and data-driven performance insights
Lead initiatives end-to-end: from problem discovery and analysis to rollout and measurable impact
Act as the key interface between market operations and tech, ensuring adoption, alignment, and business value
Your future team
You’ll be part of Group Operations, a central team working across Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and the Netherlands. You’ll collaborate closely with market operations, routing specialists, and engineering — often working very close to where things actually happen.
You’ll work with two dedicated development teams located across Stockholm and Norway, in an agile setup with short iterations and a strong delivery focus. You’ll report to the Head of Product in Operations, and work closely with senior routing and operations counterparts across the organisation.
What we're looking for
You’re a strong analytical problem-solver with solid business acumen and a genuine interest in operations. You’re comfortable owning a large and complex scope, making trade-offs, and backing decisions with data and clear reasoning.
4–5+ years of experience in product management, business development, operations, or similar analytical roles
Relevant academic background
Proven ability to analyse complex optimisation or operational problems and turn them into actionable initiatives
Strong business understanding and experience building business cases and prioritising based on impact
Comfortable working with data, KPIs, and performance reporting
Strong stakeholder management skills across functions and seniority levels
Fluent in English; Swedish is beneficial
More about you
You’re structured, independent, and comfortable working in ambiguity. You don’t wait for perfect data — you know how to move forward, test, and iterate. You enjoy working close to operations, talking to stakeholders, visiting terminals, and validating insights in the real world — not just in dashboards.
You’re more driven by impact than process, and while you understand product frameworks, you’re equally comfortable driving operational change when that’s what creates the most value.
Experience from last-mile delivery, logistics, or large-scale operations
Background in analytical roles such as consulting, operational excellence, or strategy
Experience working with tools such as Tableau, Snowflake, or similar data platforms
Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
What you’ll get
A role with direct and visible impact on cost, efficiency, and operational performance
Ownership of a business-critical product area with real decision-making authority
A highly competent, collaborative, and genuinely nice team to work with
The opportunity to build, improve, and see results fast — at real scale
