Head of Sales – Sweden
Build, lead and scale Instabee’s commercial engine in Sweden — driving growth through hands-on leadership, strong execution and close collaboration with the market.
About the role
We’re looking for an operational and results-driven Head of Sales Sweden, to lead and scale our commercial engine in one of Instabee’s most important markets.
You own the commercial growth and performance of Sweden — building, improving and scaling the commercial organization while driving execution across the full sales funnel. Your mission is clear: accelerate growth by signing and onboarding new merchants, strengthening our largest partnerships, and ensuring our merchant base continues to grow and succeed.
You will lead and develop three core commercial functions — New Sales, Key Account Management and Merchant Success — ensuring they work together as one high-performing commercial organization.
This is not a desk-bound leadership role. We’re looking for someone who thrives close to the business — coaching teams, shaping deals, and driving performance through clear priorities, strong structure, and a high pace of execution.
As part of the Swedish Management Team, you will also help shape our local go-to-market strategy and commercial direction.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining leadership with hands-on commercial work — someone who wants to build, improve and scale a commercial organization while still staying close to the deals, the team and the market.
Some of the things you will do
Lead and develop the Swedish sales organization
You lead and coach the teams responsible for New Sales, Key Accounts and Merchant Success, a team of around 14 people today, building a strong commercial culture focused on ownership, performance and growth.
Drive new merchant acquisition
Together with the New Sales team, you ensure a strong pipeline and high sales pace — from prospecting and pitching to signing and onboarding merchants.
Strengthen our largest partnerships
You set the direction for our Key Account Management team and support complex negotiations and business development initiatives that maximize long-term merchant value.
Scale and retain our merchant base
Through the Merchant Success and Account Management teams, you ensure our merchants grow with us — driving retention, operational improvements and upsell opportunities across the portfolio.
Own performance, pipeline and forecasting
You translate strategy into clear weekly activities and KPIs, maintain strong oversight of the sales funnel, and ensure reliable forecasting and delivery against targets.
Drive commercial alignment across the business
You work closely with operations, product and merchant success teams to ensure merchants receive the right solutions and that commercial decisions support long-term profitability.
Shape the Swedish commercial strategy
As part of the Swedish Management Team, you bring market insights and commercial perspective that help define how we grow and compete in Sweden.
Protect and grow merchant profitability
You ensure value is correctly priced, the right products are offered to the right merchants, and that commercial terms support long-term sustainable growth.
Who you are
You are a hands-on commercial leader who enjoys being close to the action and helping teams win.
You likely bring:
Experience leading and developing B2B sales teams in fast-moving environments
A track record of driving commercial growth through hands-on leadership
Experience working with complex partnerships or key accounts
The ability to translate strategy into clear priorities, structure and performance management
A leadership style that combines coaching, clarity and accountability
Strong commercial judgement and an understanding of how deals, pricing and partnerships drive long-term profitability
Experience from e-commerce, marketplaces, logistics or fintech is a strong advantage.
